Legal

Terms of use

Reading is free and unconditional. These terms cover what our information is — and is not — and how it may be reused.

What this site is

Relax Explorer is an editorial publication. Everything on it is information to plan with, not professional advice, and no listing is a booking, a reservation, or a contractual offer of any kind. Bookings happen between you and the venue.

Accuracy, honestly stated

Our promise — described in full on how we verify — is about process: every published fact was checked on site or against a primary source, and carries the date it was last checked. That is a stronger promise than most travel sites make, and it is still not a warranty. Venues change hours, prices, chefs and owners without telling us. Check anything that matters — an opening time, a dress code, a closure — against the venue itself before you travel, and tell us when we are out of date: corrections are welcome and always sourced.

To the extent the law allows

We are not liable for losses that come from relying on published information that has since changed, from venues themselves, or from third-party sites we link to. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our content, others' marks

The writing, photography briefs, data structure and design of this site belong to Relax Explorer. You may quote from it with attribution and a link; you may not republish whole pages, scrape the database, or use our content to train a directory that competes with the verification work it took to build. Venue names and trademarks belong to their owners — listing a place is journalism, not affiliation, and no venue has endorsed us by being listed.

Partner content

Where a page results from a commercial partnership it is labelled as such, and the rule onthe partner page applies everywhere: placement can buy prominence for a verified entry, it can never buy the seal.

Changes

We may revise these terms; the date below always reflects the current text. Using the site after a change means the current version applies.
