Bar Marsella
Nineteenth-century absinthe under the same dusty chandeliers — patina nobody installed.
This page is in verification. Nothing on it has been confirmed on site or against primary sources yet — that is why the facts column is empty rather than filled with guesses. It completes, or it comes down. How we verify
Nothing here was decorated to look old, which is the whole argument: mirrors, chandeliers, marble tables and an absinthe served with its ritual of water and sugar, in a Raval that has changed around it without changing it.
It is the cheap historic counterweight to the city’s designed cocktail rooms — and a late-night walk in the deep Raval deserves ordinary care. Address and opening hours publish once verified.
