Bakery
Fornet de la Soca
Recipes recovered from old notebooks — a bakery run as culinary archaeology.
Tomeu Arbona’s bakery, in the historic Forn des Teatre building, is a recovery project as much as a shop: convent and family recipes that industrial tourism had erased, made again by the original methods.
The ensaïmades follow the old process without additives, but for anyone walking the centre the useful things are the panades and cocarrois — meat, fish or vegetable pasties that travel well. The window is one of the most photographed in Palma. Trading hours publish once confirmed.
